convenient stay
ideal location italian restaurant cliff lift
the hotel is ideally situated for local attractions. a lovely italian restaurant sits just across the square. the cliff lift is also about 300 yards away the shops are close by you can walk across the bridge toward the pavillion end of town.
our room was quite small not really suitable for two people. the guest house wasn't full so i don't know why we were put in such a small room. the bathroom door needed replacing.

breakfast was very good with a wide selection of food. i noticed cereals and pastries offered nothing seemed like too much trouble. the dining room was gorgeous and clean.

gritty carpet dirty glasses
The room I received felt quite outdated. A small, gritty carpet was present and it didn't appear to be fitted correctly. I also noticed a cheap water and some dirty glasses, which I found disappointing.

dated room extra parking
The room felt dated. It didn't match the price i paid! there was water left in the kettle when i arrived. the toilet wasn't clean under the seat. That's pretty gross. i couldn't sleep because it was noisy outside. also, breakfast wasn't included and parking cost extra. it seemed like i was nickel and dimed at every turn, really annoying.

attentive staff perfect location pleasant experience
the staff were helpful and attentive. the location is perfect for exploring the nearby attractions and amenities. i found the cleanliness perfect and it provided a very pleasant experience.
i found a slight inconvenience with the limited parking spaces available near the hotel.

small room creaky floorboards
i found the room surprisingly small. there was no space to comfortably place luggage. the floorboards creaked a lot, and the sound was quite distracting at night. i wish they had addressed these issues, especially given the price i paid for my stay.
