lovely riverside escape

the staff are friendly and accommodating. the beer garden sits right next to the river, a perfect spot. i enjoyed tasty food at the pub, especially their locally sourced meals.
the room felt a bit dated, the bathroom had some wear and tear, and the shower pressure was quite low making it difficult to shower.

The breakfast offered a good selection, including cereals and fresh fruit, served between 8.30 and 9.30 am. cooked options are available. You order the evening before. i found the ingredients to be locally sourced adding to the freshness.

my room included tea making facilities and fresh towels. the standard double room was traditional in style. it overlooked the garden and river making it a lovely view, and. the bed was quite comfortable.

the setting near the river proved acceptable. the pub itself felt traditional.
the shower Pressure was very low, it barely produced a trickle. i found it difficult to shower properly and this was disappointing given the price.

riverside gardennice barserene feel
the garden backed onto the river it had a serene feel. the pub included a bar area perfect if you wanted a drink. i noticed the dining rooms was very nice.
the shower water pressure was very weak sometimes it was just a few drops of water

dated roomawful shower
the room i had was very dated and it felt cramped i also noticed the room wasn't serviced so i had no tea, coffee, milk or toilet roll replaced it wasn't great when i had to ask a member of staff for toilet roll and they replied 'what are you doing eating it? ' the shower was also awful it was literally a trickle.
