excellent lodging experience!

lovely interiorreasonable pricesearly breakfastbroken extractor
i thought the pub location was pretty convenient considering the town center. the beer garden was to be a real treat. the interior design was lovely, and the food and drinks had reasonable prices. my room had everything i needed, including plenty of tea, coffee, and toiletries.
The bathroom extractor fan did not work properly. only one clothes hanger was provided, insufficient for two people. ironing facilities were advertised. an iron and ironing board were unavailable because they were stolen earlier that day. it was a real pity.

convenient parkingdusty fanabsent oat milk
The location proved convenient plus parking came without any extra charge.
The absence of hot water on my initial day surprised me it coincided with the year's hottest day too bad the fan looked like it hadn't seen a cleaning brush since winter so it circulated dust The breakfast presented another letdown oat milk vanished after day one.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues

full car parkstreet noise
The parking situation was not ideal. The car park was full upon arrival and I had to find alternative parking nearby. This added unexpected costs. the room lacked adequate soundproofing. Noise from the street was noticeable late into the night making it hard to sleep.

the location was good. the staff was friendly, and i enjoyed the continental breakfast i had. they kept the breakfast items well stocked. i liked the range of options available for the self-service breakfast.
the car park became full, and that forced me to pay extra for parking elsewhere. the shower glass didnt properly cover the shower area, and it made the bathroom floor wet. i think they need a better glass cover.
