The staff were friendly and SOOOO helpful. The room had its own private patio area. Breakfast was delicious and the staff fulfilled all our requests with a smile.
The food was poor. We both ordered fish and chips. The honey madeleines tasted awful. The granola was burnt, and the poached eggs were overdone. A new chef is needed!!!

the big fluffy towels really stood out to me! bramley toiletries were also a plus. the large bed was amazingly comfy and ensured great sleep. lots of parking made arrival easy.
The absence of air conditioning made the room too warm. I did have a fan, but it was loud and basic.

I experienced lovely sunday lunch with a large group. Friendly service made the meal more pleasant! the veggie options were surprisingly interesting and offered great choices. the food was delicious!!!

The hotel is in a nice spot. It provides a real countryside retreat. a nearby field offered a local walk, very convenient for dog owners. the gardens are worth a mention. They are a perfect spot to enjoy a drink.

Most of the staff were great and friendly. They couldn't do enough for us. the team was more than helpful with queries. the staff were attentive. They added a lovely personal touch to the experience.

excellent pub stay

this pub offered an amazing experience from start to finish. the staff greeted us warmly and promptly showed us to our rooms, i found the rooms beautifully decorated and very well furnished. we received a thoughtful flask of fresh milk to enhance our in-room drinks, a nice touch. we visited the bar, where i enjoyed the fabulous cocktails and the warm, relaxed atmosphere.
I noticed the steps and rails leading to our upgraded room looked quite worn. cobwebs and spiders accumulated there, and the area needed sanding, varnishing, and dusting. beer barrels sat at the bottom of the stairs, detracting from the overall appearance. It would benefit from some tlc with plant pots.

Ample parking is available on the hotel. My dog received a warm welcome. the location is very quiet. I found it a restful experience. i loved that the hotel provided ev charging just off the m4.

The room was huge and featured a very comfortable bed. a big, deep bath was a luxury i enjoyed. It was lovely after a long day. beautiful toiletries and tea and coffee options enhanced my stay in the room.

Breakfast was superb. It offered a good selection and accommodated dietary needs well. the gluten-free bread tasted really yummy, i appreciated that. i had an evening meal, and the food was very nice. The chocolate mousse is a must.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and very accommodating to our needs. We felt very well taken care of. dave is a great asset to the team. He always has a smile and a kind word. friendly service came from dave and his team during our lunch.

Decent Stay with Some Issues
untidy stepslimited breakfast
The steps leading to my upgraded room needed attention. They were full of cobwebs and spiders. Beer barrels were also at the bottom of the stairs, which looked untidy. There were no baked goods or a selection of cheeses and fruits at breakfast. It was disappointing. Only a cooked breakfast was offered, not a self-service option.
