Fantastic Pub Stay!
stellar location genuine care very nice view prompt attention
The location is stellar, right by the bridge! Staff showed genuine care and provided assistance whenever needed. My room offered very nice views of the castle. I appreciated the prompt attention to my luggage when I needed help with it.
The staircase to the rooms is somewhat narrow.

I enjoyed the steak and blue cheese pie with mash and greens. It was AMAZING!!! The meat was plentiful, and I could really taste the blue cheese. Mash and vegetables complemented the dish perfectly.

The hotel features a traditional British pub with wooden floors and benches. There is a narrow staircase leading to the rooms. My cozy room included an iron, hairdryer, fan, and kettle.

Staff members were polite and. The service was fast even when the pub was very busy. They were helpful when I needed assistance with my luggage.

convenient location included shampoo coffee facilities
the location proved very convenient. it was a short walk to the river and nearby shops. the room included shampoo, conditioner, and hot chocolate, i found. body lotion, body wash, biscuits, tea, and coffee were available as well.
my room overlooked the garden , and it was a little noisy.

check-in was friendly. staff offered assistance with my suitcase. they were generally pleasant and helpful throughout my stay, i observed. the team was available to cater to requests, it seemed.

Mixed experience at the inn.
uncomfortable bed dirty cups
The bed was QUITE uncomfortable. Room cleaning had to be requested. I was unaware of that. I returned to dirty cups and an unmade bed. there was no breakfast at the pub. The morning exit required squeezing past a food delivery because the bar was closed.

amazing location atmospheric location noisy room terrible pillows
the location was amazing!!! it is very atmospheric. the staff were very nice and ready to help with any of my needs.
The room overlooked the beer garden. It was noisy. the pillows were terrible. i found the bed very uncomfortable.

pleasant stay near the castle
parking assistance helpful staff late night suggestion
alan helped me with parking, i found his taxi suggestion useful. the staff at check-in at 9:15pm was friendly, she took the time to explain things. she even suggested places i could eat after the restaurant closed.
i wanted to ask a question but never received a response.

my room was on the first floor and it faced the castle. the room was very clean and included a heater and towel warmer. the amenities provided were adequate and i found the central location convenient for shops.
