tidy room basic menu reasonable prices graceful waitress
this pub offers rooms. the room was tidy and included what we needed. i liked the basic menu and prices. the waitress handled all covers very gracefully.
the breakfast included one sausage, a rasher of bacon, half a tomato, and three mushrooms.

the location is good if you explore this area. it is a short drive to holy island and bamburgh castle. the atmospheric ruins are about ten minutes walking. it is a quiet area, i got a good night sleep.

Really good Stay
clean room en-suite bathroom excellent service
The room was very clean and tidy. It also included an en-suite bathroom, a nice convenience. The staff offered excellent service, very friendly indeed. Breakfast was comprehensive, offering everything I needed.
The soundproofing was not great and the noise was constant.

The village provided access to a scenic path near the river Tweed. I found this a wonderful place for a peaceful walk. The surrounding area is ideal for exploring nature.

great quality friendly staff comfortable bed
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was great quality and good value. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and I loved the hot shower with great pressure!!!
The breakfast included only a single sausage and a small portion of other items.

friendly staff great food dripping tap low rating
the staff was nice. the building seems larger inside than IT APPEARS from the outside. the food was great. staff were polite.
showers got a low rating. it could be better. a tap dripped, this isn't acceptable. that shower must be repaired.
