Mixed Feelings at this Place

musty odorstretched staff
My stay wasn't flawless, sadly. The room had a slight musty odor, a bit off-putting (it lingered, you know?). the promised turndown service didn't happen one evening. I suspect that they forgot, though I didn't see that. The staff was polite, but they seemed stretched thin at times.

the staff were friendly and polite, which i appreciated.
The towels felt scratchy, a detail that detracted from the otherwise luxurious experience. also there was too much furniture in the room. It felt cramped and hard to move around.

The Eclectic Suite was spacious. It featured beautiful decor and even a fireplace (such a treat!). The hotel's location was also fantastic. It allowed easy walking to the main square, museums, restaurants, and shops.
The breakfast service was somewhat slow. I found the prices to be on the higher side for what was offered (but it's manageable).

Acceptable Stay but Issues Existed

unique gardencomfortable bedgrumpy conciergeexpensive breakfast
The decorations. The big garden has a pool, it is unique for any city. The bed was bigger than king size, I liked its comfort.
The staff seemed small, they looked inexperienced. I felt uncomfortable because the concierge was grumpy, it was like he was doing me a favor every time I asked something. The breakfast tasted average. it was expensive. Service at the bar was slow, nearly nonexistent.
