excellent culinary inn experience
quick rectificationcomfortable roomsexcellent whisky
i just returned from a good stay that followed two days of exploring. .). i found the selection of drinks in the bar excellent, especially the malt whisky.
the only minor issue i encountered was the limited availability of plug sockets in the room. this wasn't a huge problem, but it was slightly inconvenient when i needed to charge multiple devices. perhaps adding a power strip would be a great solution.

the evening meal was cooked to a high standard. good quality ingredients were noticeable in every dish i sampled. the breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!).

the inn had a secure parking area for motorcycles. gardens were really good and well-kept. the location provided a great starting point for local walks and exploring the surrounding areas.

the bar area had an open firewith a good atmosphere. the inn is dog friendly, a big plus for pet owners. the building maintained its authentic atmosphere and featured unique furniture.

the room was very comfortable with a nice ensuite bathroom. the bed and bed linen were excellent ensuring a restful sleep. the beautiful double room offered ample space and added to the overall positive experience.

ancient tvfew plug sockets
my stay wasn't terrible, but i found a couple things that really bothered me. the tv in the room was so old, it hardly had any channels. it was hard to find anything to watch. i also wish there were more plugs. it was difficult to charge all my devices. i really wanted more food options and feel the food was overpriced.
