fantastic stay
helpful staff very good meals field view
staff was helpful as we arrived a bit early and accessing our rooms was simple. i found the meals to be very good overall at the hotel. my room faced the fields, i liked that a lot.
the barman looked a little grumpy.

the staff booked a table for us without us even requesting it, i found this to be a godsend. breakfast was served early because we needed to leave unexpectedly, that was really kind. it was appreciated.

the inn sits in a position with sensational views, it will be even better as the weather gets nicer. the area had a proper country pub feel, i enjoyed the real landlord and the friendly locals. it was very relaxing.

the room was clean and lovely, i found the bed very comfortable. breakfast was lovely, and the view from the bedroom window was nice too. the rooms are super clean.

the pub was warm and cosy, a roaring fire welcomed us as we walked in. i instantly felt welcomed and relaxed. there was plenty to choose from for sunday lunch, it was a great experience.

The bed was comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. I saw a wonderful view from my bedroom window. The staff was friendly and the beer was good.

helpful staff delicious food
the staff were so helpful. they went out of their way to make sure i had everything i needed. i also enjoyed the food a lot, not just breakfast but also the evening meals. it was all really delicious!!!
the bathroom was large, but it only had a shower and no bath. also, the shower needed a bit of extra attention to be cleaner.

the location worked fine for exploring the dales.
my room showed dust on top of the clock. the shower temperature varied erratically, from very hot to very cold, with no warning. i almost scalded myself.

Breakfast was amazing. The food was excellent!!! The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful. I found parking easy.
