Acceptable stay near Hadrian's Wall

great location home-brewed beers observatory bonus poor attitude limited food constant hum
The location is ideal for walkers. I appreciated the on-site brewery tap room. The visitor center and observatory were an added bonus. I found a great selection of home-brewed beers.
The staff attitude was a concern. I thought the choice of food was limited because it was Sunday. The staff seemed unhelpful and miserable. The room was noisy because it was above the air conditioning unit, resulting in a constant hum.
