poor soundproofingtiny sink
This hotel did present some issues. The soundproofing was tragic. I could hear every word from the neighboring room, and I even wondered if they were shouting. The bathroom sink it was so tiny. It was nearly impossible to wash my face without making a mess. I almost slipped and fell when water splashed all over the floor. This place seemed like a poorly executed sitcom.

The location proved convenient. Jesus green was easily accessible. friendly staff created a great bar atmosphere. the room was clean. The bed was comfy. everything i needed was there!
My room got very hot and stuffy, and i found only fans. the carpets really needed a replacement! milk was absent from the coffee and tea sets. noise carried up from the pub. That was a problem.

Wedding venue bliss

amazing staffsuper clean venueminimal parking
i cannot express enough how wonderful the experience was when we hosted our daughter's wedding here last september. the staff were amazing, handling everything with grace and ensuring the event proceeded seamlessly. the venue itself aligned perfectly with our vision and was super clean, as were our rooms.
Minimal parking facilities created some initial inconvenience for us since there are only a few spots available close to the pub. they require payment between 9:00 and 17:00. Free parking required a bit of a walk and this was not ideal given we were transporting quite a lot of items
Location
9/10
the location is excellent for walks into town along the riverside. several local pubs and eateries are within easy reach from the hotel, providing great dining options, and they create an atmosphere that i really loved.
Facilities
8/10
the pub downstairs offers good coffee, a bonus for early mornings. breakfast was good, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful with any requests we had.
Rooms
9/10
the room included nice body care products. coffee and milk were provided in the room, a thoughtful addition, and the large comfy bed was very inviting after a long day.
