the sunday lunch starters seemed overpriced. the roast pork seemed very fatty. it also seemed quite expensive. there were lots of basic issues that really need attention. it looks lovely but i'm not sure it is worth what i paid.

I found the Classic King Room to be spacious. The views of the South Downs were great from the room. Every meal at the restaurant tasted delicious. I thought the staff were both kind and very helpful .
The shower water took a while to get hot, it would be great if that was improved.

the room looked recently updated and was cozy. the view near the restaurant had beauty. ordering dinner happened just before the kitchens closed because i arrived late, and they accommodated me. breakfast existed and tasted good.

The breakfast was FABULOUS!!! The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room included a pillow spray sample. The bed provided great support. I had a complimentary drink upon arrival. The room had a radio.
Checking in was a little confusing. There was no clear signage for reception. I entered the bar area to find someone.

The evening meals tasted delicious. Staff assisted me by lending a charging plug. I had forgotten mine. The building was quite beautiful with lovely views and a nice atmosphere. I received a free drink voucher. It was a really nice touch.
The Wi-Fi connection was not very good.
