simple pleasures

the cooked vegetarian breakfast was tasty and generous i appreciated the bottle of water and fridge in the room the comfy warm towels and bedding with nice toiletries and hairdryer added to the experience the cleanliness was very good. the fire and the historical well in the pub added character. i found the green in front of the pub to be lovely and the parking convenient.

the heating controls were not working and the room was insufferably hot i asked at the bar and they said it needed to be fixed but it would go off at 20:30.

the location was ideal with great parking facilities available visiting by car it provided easy access to nearby attractions and the surrounding countryside for exploration. the hotel is set on a lovely green.

my room included comfy bedding i found the room to be a good size it also included a barn window the provision of warm towels and nice toiletries contributed to the quality of the stay. there was a fridge.

the cooked breakfast offered a tasty vegetarian option that was generous i found the food and drink to be of good quality and reasonably priced i ate in the pub and enjoyed the food. i had a bottle of water.

the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay i appreciated their attentiveness and willingness to assist with any requests i had they really went the extra mile. the wifi was also good.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast included with my stay was a pleasant surprise. My room had both a bath and a mini fridge. I found evening meals to be very tasty with good portion sizes at a reasonable price.

I noticed the heating controls were not working. The room became a bit too warm during the night. This minor issue was the only slight inconvenience I experienced .
