Excellent Stay Overlooking the Waterhole
sunset view animal gathering unique experience
The sunset view from my balcony was fine. I enjoyed watching the animals gather at the watering hole each evening. The vulture feeding demonstration at 1 PM was a special and unique experience (it was really excellent!).

broken door bathroom hairs
the staff were friendly i did appreciate that
the room was not what i expected the closet door was broken it was difficult to close i also found several hairs in the bathroom upon arrival i was very disappointed by the lack of attention to detail in cleaning plus there was some noise at night that disrupted my sleep

friendly staff animal sighting waterhole view slow check-in torn bedsheets slow food
My room, a double room waterhole view, was REALLY nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I saw many animals at the waterhole right from my room. It was a great experience.
The check-in process took quite a while. I waited almost 30 minutes. My bedsheets had a small tear. I noticed this on the first night. I found the food orders from the bar took A LONG time.

underwhelming stay
unprofessional handling disruptive approach
the lodge grounds were nice. but our experience had some issues. after checking out, we were told we owed nothing. then, at the airport after security, someone from the lodge approached us. they claimed we needed to pay $200 cash for a national park fee, a fee supposedly covered by our tour. the way they handled it felt very unprofessional and disruptive. it left a negative final impression.
