the accommodation felt very homely and well equipped. my dog especially appreciated the provided dog bed and treats.. it was a nice touch. the views and walks in every direction along the ullswater way were beautiful.
the apartment had a new feel, but the walk to the village took longer than i expected.

we stayed in a glamping pod it was very clean. the pod included crockery for cooking. fresh milk, coffee, tea, and biscuits were provided upon arrival. the glamping area is beautifully maintained and the reception offers locally produced products.

the cottage was very well equipped with an outside table and views of the lake. everything was clean and in excellent working order. i found lots of parking spaces available and it was easy to find.
i found the showers roomy but a bit drab. the water wasn't as hot or powerful as i would have liked as it was push button operated.

the glamping pod, it wasn't what i hopped for. the bedding had some brown stains, a real disappointment. i also felt a bit disappointed we had to strip all the beds myself. felt this wasn't justified considering the cost. it reminded me of a job after a long day.

My wife and i had a high quality stay. the cottage was ideal for us and well provisioned with all facilities. we found comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water. And lake views. a handy pub was nearby too!
the walk to town was a bit longer than i expected, especially in the evening. it took about 15-20 minutes through a wood area and a field.

the mansion's bar offered friendly staff and other customers. a fish and chip van visited on saturday between 5-7 p.m., and the chips tasted lovely. i considered it a convenient option for an easy meal.

The touring pitch sizes are spacious. The site itself is spacious. It has a beautiful mansion house and gardens onsite. The play park for children is really good!!!
The play park was a bit young for our kids. The play area being over by the Mansion House meant a walk uphill. It was not very practical for an impromptu play.

The touring pitch sizes are great! They are really spacious. The site itself is very spacious and has a beautiful mansion house. Gardens are also on site!
The showers were roomy. But drab and cold. I detest push button showers that are lukewarm. I want a proper powerful shower as hot as I like it!
