the room was spacious and clean. i liked the availability of many toiletries in the bathroom. breakfast offered a good selection of choices, including fresh fruit.
the hotel seemed a bit dated. peeling wallpaper was evident in some areas (it was not a major issue, though). the hot water took a while to heat up.

cooked breakfast helpful staff early closing unclear detail
the breakfast was freshly cooked and tasted delicious. the staff worked very hard to assist all guests and fulfill requests. I felt the hotel's location was secure and cute.
I noticed that this hotel shuts its doors at 11pm. i think the hotel should ensure guests are aware of the access limitations.

The staff members were cute. The room was clean. Breakfast was tasty. Private parking was directly outside the hotel. The food was good, and gluten-free options were available. The building has original features that are well-kept. Extensions to the hotel are tastefully done.
The phone signal was terrible. Wi-Fi was non-existent. There was no telephone in the room. Information in the room was also limited. This is very important for a solo traveler.

lovely suite delicious breakfast gin experience
my partner and i celebrated our anniversary with a gin making experience. the hotel upgraded us to a lovely suite upon arrival. breakfast was delicious and hot (the poached eggs were perfect!).
the hotel room had a slight smell in the corridor, a bit off-putting.

The room was clean and large. Staff members were friendly and helpful . The bed provided a comfortable night's sleep.
The hotel reminded me of a nursing home. I had to choose my breakfast and give a time I wanted to have it. I found that odd as it can be difficult to determine what I would like for breakfast on check in.
