helpful staff clean room convenient parking
the staff was very helpful. my room was clean. parking was very convenient. i recommend the food. the menu offered variety and preparation was good. breakfast was exactly as i requested. it was served with efficiency and cheerfulness.
the bathroom had a automatic light. it activated by movement. it turned off shortly after i went in. it plunged me into darkness.

lovely stay
helpful staff lovely stay room upgrade
i enjoyed that we were offered rolls and amuse bouche with our meal also the room upgrade was lovely.
i could hear all movement from the creaky floor from the room above throughout the night i noticed a pathetic tea tray for a 5-star rating with only two coffee sachets two teabags and one biscuit. there was only one toilet roll on the holder in the bathroom.

the restaurant had some great food i really enjoyed meals on both nights and also breakfast on both days. the breakfast offered fruit cereal and toast as well as a range of cooked options.

the bedroom is a good size contemporary and clean the bed is comfortable. the room was spacious i liked the good coffee and tea making facilities. i stayed in a beautiful suite with a bath.

the pub is warm and cosy with wooden beams low ceilings and an open fire it created a relaxing atmosphere. parking was very convenient i had no issues finding a spot and accessing the hotel. the grounds were very pretty.

poor breakfast service undercooked eggs
the breakfast service was poor with long waits for drinks. butter was requested but never arrived. the poached eggs were also undercooked and transparent.

cold room disruptive clicking
the breakfast was good and the staff were friendly
the room was quite cold upon arrival i had to figure out the heating system myself the bathroom light turned off too quickly it left me in darkness unexpectedly the clicking noise all night was disruptive to my sleep
