a fair stay

the room had a comfy bed. i appreciated the choice of teas. the staff seemed friendly during breakfast. the hot tub seemed perfect after a busy day.
the parking area appear scruffy, including rubbish and a tatty old shed. the wall seemed poorly patched. it did not match colors.

The breakfast arrived to my room, just as i requested. it was a good treat each morning. i found the staff to be friendly and helpful. they provided recommendations for local restaurants. i especially enjoyed the jacuzzi bath in my room. It was perfect.
The road outside was a bit noisy at times. It did impact my sleep slightly. the parking bays felt quite narrow. i noticed some dust on the back of the tv. It suggested cleaning wasn't as thorough as i hoped.

I found multiple issues . The room lacked proper soundproofing as noise from nearby traffic disrupted sleep. the breakfast service was slow, and the cooked items were not hot. The absence of readily available information about local attractions caused some inconvenience. I expected better maintenance of the room. There were stains on the carpet and the furniture shows wear.

A Few Issues Noted

Vicki, the host, was lovely. She was helpful and approachable. Jet, her dog, was a sweet and calm presence. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The bathroom was modern.
The road outside was busy. It was not disturbing, but something to note. I noticed a lollipop stick in the hallway. It did not move . The staff seemed over-run. I think they were unable to cope with the number of rooms.
