Modern stay near the excel

The room was spacious and well kept. I especially liked the separate toilet and shower area. The bed was very comfortable and ensured restful nights. It was very convenient to catch the dlr right from level 2 of the hotel. It made getting around easy.
The tv chrome cast feature did not work . It was apparently a global marriott hotel issue. I wish they had informed me upon checking in. It would have saved me a trip to the reception.

Breakfast offered a good selection but the cappuccino from the machine could be improved. I think the taste and quality of the milk product was not the best. It would benefit from an upgrade.

The excel center was a short walk, about three minutes. i found a restaurant and a courtyard bar, both really nice. i used the pool, the gym, and the steam and sauna. All were lovely.
i noticed the bar was closed throughout my three-night stay, so evenings were a little boring! the room tv did not support chromecast so i had limited viewing options.

Staff were helpful and friendly. breakfast service was quick and efficient. The staff were always available to assist. housekeeping did a good job keeping the room tidy. Requests were handled promptly.

the family room was great for me. the swimming pool was good to relax after long days.
the beds in the twin rooms are too small. they are only double beds, possibly even smaller, and are not big enough for two adults. i also found nothing nearby the hotel, like restaurants or shops.

Wonderful Stay Near the Excel

This was my second visit. I found the staff to be very polite and cute. The whole hotel had a pleasant smell. The air felt refreshing throughout the building.
The small towels in the room were not ideal for my preferences. I would have liked them to be larger.
