generally okay stay
flatscreen television functional bathroom consistent wifi unengaging staff questionable location night market
the room had a flatscreen television with international channels. the bathroom was functional and had all necessary amenities. the wifi connection was fast and consistent. i found the staff helpful.
they could not recommend a good area for restaurants. the location is next to a night market. this may not suit older couples.

mixed experience at this hotel
old tv mandatory tip
the tv was QUITE old , so i couldn't open any apps like netflix. a tip is mandatory at the rooftop bar , included in the bill as a service fee plus some other taxes. i believe a tip is something you would give for good service , not by default , and here you have no say in this matter.

the rooftop bar view was amazing and the cocktails were good. the breakfast was the best i have had in a hotel!
One bag of clothes washing cost nearly 4000 baht. I was not aware, as i expected to pay a premium. i was charged 250 baht per beer and another 30 baht for some reason. I thought it was a very high premium for one bag of clothes to be washed.

quick taxi easy reach
the location was very good , close to many attractions. i found it easy to get around using taxis that the hotel arranged quickly , arriving within 5 to 10 minutes.
the pool deck is small and lacks shade , direct sunlight without protection.

the room was big enough and clean. room service was very helpful, also the staff at the lobby. the rooftop pool was amazing. the room had a nice view.
the location is a bit far from the main roads. also, it can be difficult to find street food nearby. i could hear street noise from my room as it wasn't soundproofed.

the hotel is a short walk from mahanakhon tower. the area features numerous restaurants, shops, and cafes. there are massage salons nearby. i liked the overall convenience of the location.
