Magical Igloo Stay
aurora alarm glass roof roof heating
Staying in the Glass Igloo allowed for great aurora viewing from bed. The aurora alarm worked reliably and notified me about the lights. The roof heating system kept the glass clear from snow, even during heavy snowfall. I enjoyed the warm, clean igloo.
The reception staff seemed a bit impersonal during check-in.

The hotel is spread over a large area with many igloos. A beautiful lake is within walking distance, offering scenic views. The hotel is isolated from city lights, optimal for seeing the northern lights (the best part!).

Breakfast had many options, including vegan and vegetarian choices. The staff provided wake-up calls for northern lights sightings. Two saunas are available, one private (bookable) and one public, open from 9 to 11 p.m.

adjustable beds northern lights alarm great comfort
My Glass Igloo provided great comfort. The adjustable beds were a great feature for finding a comfortable position. The northern lights alarm also worked perfectly.
The reception staff could have been a bit warmer.

Nice Ice Experience!
ice sculpting friendly staff interesting hotel
I really enjoyed the ice sculpting. Staff was cute and friendly too. Hearing about the snow hotel was super interesting. I even saw them building it!

The reception staff are helpful. Thank you Candice & Kati. The hotel provides shuttle services for smooth travel. They also offer a wake-up service with hot juice at your chosen time, A MUST!!!

Breakfast had many options for everyone. Vegan and vegetarian options existed too. I appreciated the cook making vegetarian fried rice. The pop-up drink bar lets you drink in ice-glass, a unique experience.

comfortable bed helpful staff good variety cold restaurant absent lights long walk
the glass igloo had a great view. the bed was very comfortable, and i slept well. the staff were helpful with directions and information about local attractions. breakfast included a good variety of choices.
The ice restaurant was very cold. Eating was uncomfortable. the northern lights alarm sounded a few times, but no lights was. my igloo was located far from the main building. The walk was long.

friendly staff natural environment
the natural environment surrounding the facilities is beautiful it enhanced my overall trip i found the possibility for different activities very appealing it.
the hotel itself has limited offerings for the price i paid i felt that the quality did not quite match the cost i experienced.
