riverside retreat was wonderful
riverside view comfortable bed available water bottles convenient parking
the room was spacious and had windows that looked out onto the river. it was very peaceful. the bed was comfortable and large. bottles of water were available in the room. i found a lot of parking nearby, helpful.
i did notice a small spot of wear on the hallway carpet, but it was minor.

The hotel is right on a river. This provides a beautiful setting. walking paths are accessible directly from the hotel. several local shops and restaurants are within a short drive, approximately five minutes.

my room had a king-size bed and a separate sitting area. the bathroom included complimentary toiletries, replaced daily. blackout curtains effectively blocked outside light. the room also featured a mini-fridge stocked with beverages for purchase.

The hotel has a bar with a wide selection of drinks. the restaurant offered a menu with locally sourced ingredients. The food was AMAZING!!! there is ample parking available , including spaces for oversized vehicles.

staff members were quick to respond to requests. housekeeping maintained the room impeccably each day. the front desk offered helpful directions and recommendations for local attractions. turndown service included fresh towels and chocolates.

Some issues
small bathroom mobile heater
My room lacked central heating. Instead, there was just a small mobile heater that struggled to warm the room adequately. The bathroom was tiny. The door opened directly into the bedroom because the space was so tight. This hotel really should address these problems.

excellent comfort friendly staff delicious food
My stay included a well-appointed room offering excellent comfort. I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, especially at dinner. The food was delicious and the breakfast provided good choices included in the room rate.
