the room was decorated nicely and included a dressing table , which was very useful. i appreciated the provision of two pillow types , allowing both me and my partner to select our preferred firmness.
the hotel cleaning felt infrequent , with my room floor not being vacuumed even once.

i stayed in room 14 and it was lovely. breakfast was ample and the location is great. the attached pub was friendly. staff were helpful too.
walls felt thin. i could hear people next door. its a real shame because the building has character.

the location was great lots of places to eat nearby i found parking available it was useful. the pub downstairs offered good ales i enjoyed this.
the room faced a noisy road i noticed a warning about this and the hotel provided ear plugs.
