dated decor hot room
the staff were friendly and the breakfast selection was good
the room felt dated i found hair in the bath the decor seemed old i also noticed the room was quite hot even with the windows open there was no air conditioning

we returned to celebrate our wedding anniversary. we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal, the warm conversation with the wonderful staff and management. a peaceful stroll through the garden made for a nice day. the staff responded quickly to all our questions and provided the right information at the right time.
the rooms could do with modernising, maybe updating them a little. however, i would still stay again, so i can definitely recommend it. it wasn't a major issue, but noticeable.

the food was very delicious and prepared with attention to detail! the restaurant is much better than that of the average hotel. there was a wide selection available at breakfast too.

Finding the hotel, parking and disabled access were all simple. the grounds are fine. A photographer's dream, offering many locations that provide the perfect backdrop. the interior rooms are tasteful and elegant.

The staff was polite and helpful. The room offered everything i needed for my stay. The gluten free fish and chips is something you have to try.
the rooms could benefit from some modernising, but i would still stay again.

The hotel has attractive gardens. I saw people strolling in the manicured lawns and enjoying the landscape. The conservatory offers pleasing views. IT'S really a calm and serene environment, perfect for relaxation.
