really good dining EXPERIENCE!!!

helpful staff excellent dining great location easy access
The staff was helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Dining options were excellent, offering both an evening meal in a lovely, quirky dining room and more informal snacks in the bar. The location is GREAT. Transport links made access to coastal towns like Staithes and Whitby easy.
The bedroom seemed to focus more on style than substance. The lighting was not adequate for reading by the bedside lamp.
Facilities

The dining room features gorgeous decor. The hotel coped efficiently on a busy day when a cycle race was in progress. Staff maintained their helpful spirit even with many non-residents seeking refreshments.

i found the food excellent and the staff very friendly. i enjoyed a tasty christmas lunch and a homemade christmas pudding. petit fours and coffee followed and everything was excellent.
