underwhelming stay, issues noted
poor breakfast hot water issue
the hotel is in a fabulous location. it seemed like unplugging from a normally hectic life.
i had a two night visit. some aspects of the visit were disappointing. the breakfast offering was poor, with a long wait and not particularly appetising hot breakfast options. there was an issue with no hot water in the room on the last morning, and i found that quite inconvenient.

super art deco adventure!
gorgeous view attentive staff
The ballroom experience totally blew me away. The singer and band were fantastic! my room had a gorgeous sea view, and i saw the sea tractor doing its thing. the pilchard inn was really fun. the staff were super attentive, especially vlad. He.

the staff throughout my stay were so friendly. the concierge was fabulous and so was the bar staff. a staff member met us in a private car park and drove us to the hotel, i liked this.

This unique hotel boasts a fine geographical location. it's also near the pilchard inn. This is the 13th century island pub. the hotel is near golden sands, too, great, we loved it.

The Tony and B suite included a king size bed. The suite also featured a dressing table with a large mirror.
The sea tractor was out of service for annual maintenance.

An Absolutely Gorgeous Stay!!!
friendly staff food quality
The staff treated me like a house guest. Nothing was too much trouble. The service was immaculate, friendly, and unassuming. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the canapés before every meal were a nice touch. I also liked the fact that they prepare everything in house. I cannot wait for my next visit!!!
The blinds in the bathroom did not fully close. Privacy was compromised as the balcony runs along several rooms uninterrupted. It did not inspire confidence.

I enjoyed dining in the formal Ballroom. The fine dining evening featured a lovely thirties trio, and dancing was included!!! The management clearly takes great care in designing the menus. They presented canapés and cocktails in the lounge beforehand. It was a nice touch.
