The lodge was spacious and clean. beds were comfortable and tvs were in every room, great for my children. heating worked well. We also had decking with outdoor seating.
The pool had restricted opening times as it was available for activities. The pool closed with no notice for staff training. ladies on reception weren't always very affable.

The lodge was looked super fresh. A lovely bathroom was available, it was a perfect base. I could see fabulous views, even from the bed. Everything felt quite LUXURIOUS.
The pool was nice, but the arcade games cost £1 a go. I felt that was expensive.

the lodge had a good layout! it felt really comfortable. the facilities seemed good. the service and food at the restaurant pleased me both nights.
The curtains in my lodge did not cover the windows properly. This bothered me. there was also no blind in the bathroom. the bed was quite soft. I found it a bit uncomfortable. the sofas felt lumpy to me.

we intended to relax during our weekend and we did. the sound of birds day and night, while talking on the decking, was perfect. i had an excellent cooked sunday lunch at the bistro. i have already booked to go AGAIN next year. thank you, i wasn't disappointed.
i noticed the pool had restrictive opening times. it was frequently available for activities and private arrangements such as swimming lessons. this really limited when you could visit to times during the day.
