lovely welcome gluten free options helpful staff relaxing stay
the welcome was lovely. the evening meal was delicious and gluten free options were available upon request. breakfast had the same availability. the staff were helpful and made my stay relaxing
the shower was not hot and it was not comfortable to wash i mentioned this on leaving

the standard double room included comfortable bedding and blackout curtains it also had a modern bathroom with complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer the room had good sound insulation ensuring a quiet environment for rest.

unique feature private entrance christmas decoration nice manager
my stay included a nice twin room. it featured a kitchen stove, a unique touch i appreciate. the room also had its own entrance to the outside. the hotel decorations for christmas were a lovely bonus.
the signage from the main road to the hotel is not great.

breakfast offers plenty of choices. eggs were cooked very well and the portions were filling. i could taste creative menus as well as quality ingredients, a testament to the chef's skills.

the location is tranquil and secluded. it is off the beaten track and very peaceful. the countryside provides lovely scenery and a quiet atmosphere all around me.

small bedroom uncomfortable bed
the room was quite small I found the bed particularly uncomfortable it felt lumpy and hard. a wardrobe with a key baffled me the doors kept swinging open if not locked. there was hardly any space between the bed and the wardrobe i felt really annoyed.

I found the hotel set in lovely countryside. The country house style furnishing suited the setting. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional .
My shower wasn't quite as hot as I would have liked. I mentioned it when I checked out.

The staff offered a warm welcome. They were very attentive to all requests. Their professional attitude was AMAZING!!! ensuring all needs were promptly addressed and was really good. I found the service consistently efficient and reliable.

mixed experience, issues noticed
small room unresolved issue
breakfast was acceptable and served promptly in the dining room.
The room provided was quite small. i was unable to properly adjust the sink taps. They remained either fully on or fully off. i reported this issue, and i expected it to be resolved before my arrival, as it was a known problem, but it was not.

helpful staff excellent breakfast tepid shower general discomfort
the staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast was excellent. the room was comfortable and had a nice view of the garden. i also loved that there was log fires in the lounge areas.
the shower was not comfortable for washing. i did mention this when i leave. the water wasn't hot enough and it.
