The garden room had its own entrance. It was nice not to traipse through the entire hotel each time.
Parking seemed like a bit of a gamble! i was told on the phone that there wouldn't be any spaces, so i paid for parking elsewhere. arriving, i saw spaces available and others used them. also, the lack of air conditioning in the room during the heat was not ideal, especially being on the ground floor. I couldn't leave the windows open.

the staff were very polite and helpful . the location is excellent, close to shops and the clifton suspension bridge. my room was quiet and very clean. i found great value for money .

the room was very clean, and it had a shower. the room overlooked the leafy square. the hotel provided a kettle with welcome tea and coffee. there was also a hairdryer and iron.

parking situationuneven path
i must say, finding the parking situation less than straightforward was a bit of a downer. i called ahead to confirm parking, only to discover the 'free' parking was a sunday-only mirage. also, the room they assigned was in a separate building. this meant navigating an uneven path to reach the main hotel building for breakfast. not exactly what one hopes for
