Excellent Hotel Experience

The staff were friendly. My room (Standard Double Room) was very comfortable and clean. The inclusive dinner was superb, and the house wine was a bonus. The full Scottish breakfast had good variety, with a delicious continental buffet available too. The swimming pool and sauna were super clean (i especially enjoyed the sauna). I enjoyed my post-breakfast swim. The overall experience was excellent, and I will definitely be back.
The corridors seemed a little dated, but the room itself was perfect.

The room was large. it had a settee and two televisions. breakfasts were good. I found fresh fruit and many cooked options. there were plenty of cereals and croissants.
on arrival, the bathroom door was locked. it took the receptionist a couple of minutes to unlock it. i paid extra for an 'executive room with sea view,' but the nearby fans were quite noisy. the all-night noise of pop music from below disturbed me as well.
