pastries selection woodland walks peaceful setting
The breakfast included a selection of pastries and cereals. i found paths for woodland walks directly from the hotel grounds. the river dee was easily accessible. It required only a short walk across the main road. the setting felt very quiet and peaceful.

suspension bridge attractive walks beautiful furnishings
the hotel's proximity to the Cambus O'May suspension bridge is amazing (a very short walk!). the walks along the deeside way are quite attractive. the building appears restored with great care and is furnished beautifully.
my room was slightly small, but it didn't really bother me too much.

The hotel is located near interesting attractions. i enjoyed the continental breakfast options each morning. It included many choices. the staff accommodated vegetarian requests with prior notice, which i appreciated. the bar offered a selection of local whiskies and drinks, a NICE touch.

a mixed experience
lukewarm mash potatoes children screaming
the evening meal left something to be desired. i found the mash potatoes to be lukewarm and strangely colored. there was also just one small piece of broccoli, and it was ice cold. i also noticed the owners' young children were screaming very loudly for extended periods.
