the bathroom included a roll top bath and had a lovely view of the lough from a large window. i liked the quality toiletries and bottles of water left each day.

I was upgraded to the Jonathan Swift Suite. It was fine. I received a personal tour of the walled garden after meeting the head chef there (what a coincidence!). He offered me a vegetarian meal based on seasonal vegetables when he knew about my supper reservation.

i found the staff cute and helpful. the drawing rooms are comfortable and decorated nicely. it was great to relax there before dinner. dinner was really good and the dishes were flavorful with beautifully cooked vegetables.
the breakfast options were limited and ordering was necessary. i waited a long time for my toast and had to ask repeatedly for more bread. some items were not available.

The ceremony setup was amazing. It was held outside amidst the beautiful grounds with blue skies overlooking the Lough Swilly, a perfect backdrop. Our guests explored the grounds during the reception. The atmosphere was relaxing for everyone. The food was AMAZING!!! Every dish had care.
