Balanced Stay at the Hotel
wide variety full workout tough steak extra charge
The grounds were quite lovely and well maintained. Breakfast offered a wide variety. The gym had equipment for a full workout. I appreciated the easy walk to the beach.
Multiple items was on our bill at checkout we never consumed. It took time to remove these. The steak I ordered was quite tough. It should not be that way for the price.

inconsistent service long wait
The gardens were meticulously maintained. They met my expectations for a five-star hotel.
The service felt inconsistent. I waited twenty-five minutes for coffee during breakfast. I was also not told I had to make my own toast. It seems they are resting on past achievements.

bad dinner minimal service
the room was nice. it had lots of space. the spa was pretty good, too.
i was disappointed with the food, though. the dinner i had was not good, and it seemed like the staff did not really care. plus, the service felt more like a fast-food place than a fancy hotel. it made me not want to come back

Really good Stay
clean spa wide variety friendly staff complete gym
The spa was clean with ample towels and robes. The gym had a complete range of equipment for various workouts. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, a nice way to start the day. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist.
Finding someone to assist with our coats upon departure required searching through corridors.

Really good Amenities and Professional Service
room upgrade complimentary chocolate turn down service relaxing spa
Our room upgrade at check-in was a great surprise. Complimentary chocolates and soft drinks were a welcome treat. The evening turn-down service was appreciated. The pool and spa provided a relaxing experience, especially the hydrotherapy area and outside terrace.

The hotel's grounds are beautiful, a perfect place for a stroll. The kitchen garden is worth a visit with well-kept plants. The walk to Highcliffe Beach takes around 20 minutes at an easy pace.

Breakfast had many choices, even if the dining room was not the usual one. We enjoyed food from the bar on the outside terrace. The main restaurant provided an excellent meal experience with diverse dishes.

Staff members are friendly and helpful at all times. The check-in process was efficient. The concierge was happy to provide transportation around the grounds, a very useful service.

The staff was helpful and willing to assist with requests. The location is near the New Forest and coastline. Parking spaces were plentiful . The lounge areas were nice and comfortable for relaxation. The Kitchen restaurant had a friendly atmosphere and the food prices were reasonable.
I found a slight lack of attention to small details .
