reservation issue bothered staff
check in took a long while. there were issues with my reservation. i was told i had two reservations even though i canceled one. the manager acted as though they were doing me a favor to cancel the second reservation. no one seemed to care about the exchange rate changes since i was suppose to be charged originally. the staff seemed bothered by my request.

amazing stay!
central location helpful team comfortable bed
I loved that the location was superb, steps away from the abbey and many shops! the concierge team were excellent. They were helpful from before i arrived until i left! the bed in my room was comfortable and i enjoyed the spa treatments.
I noticed the breakfast was overpriced. I think there are nearby restaurants that provide similar options for less money.

mixed feelings about the stay
random chip flaking paint
the spa facilities seemed decent. it had some nice features.
My room was not as clean as it should have been. i found a random chip on the carpet when i arrived. I am not sure how a chip could be missed by cleaning staff. the toilet seat also needed better cleaning. also, i noticed flaking paint in the bath and shower. These issues need attention.
