The location was great. It provided easy access to many attractions. the staff were friendly, and they were always ready to help with any questions i had. the breakfast buffet had a large selection of items. I found it satisfactory.
My room's decor seemed a little dated. i noticed some wear and tear on the furniture. the dessert menu in the rose garden restaurant was uninspired. I found it repetitive. the pool attendants were often absent. I had difficulty finding assistance with sunbeds.

i visited this hotel WITH alison, my partner. this was our second visit to this spot and we've previously stayed at other portobay hotels in portugal. the hotel is immaculate, offering fine gardens, pools, restaurants, and reception areas. the staff is wonderful, always greeting guests with 'bom dia,' making us feel like part of the portobay family. i REALLY appreciated the high level of service.
the only minor issue was that our room lacked a bit of sound insulation, we heard some noise from the hallway at times.

our sea view room included complimentary soft drinks and water in the fridge, A nice bonus. the room was spacious with A well-laid-out design. the bathroom had nice toiletries and towels changed twice daily.

a relaxing stay with excellent service

the sea views were extraordinary and i found quiet spots to relax listening to the waves the garden was also fantastic with labeled plants and trees i enjoyed the breakfast at rose garden restaurant overlooking the garden and sea i also appreciated the cute fruits, wine, sweets, and water in my room upon arrival.
the live music at the bar wasn't always to my taste but it's a minor detail given the overall quality of the experience.

the meals at il gallo d'oro, avista mediterraneo, and rose garden were superb and presented beautifully the breakfast selection included fruits, bread, and cold cuts there are happy hour drinks with live music between 5 and 6pm.

The hotel's location was excellent. It was a reasonable walk to the city center. the free parking was convenient. my room was comfortable and nicely sized. staff members were very helpful.
I noticed the absence of pool attendants at the upper level pool, assistance with sun beds was unavailable. the dessert menu in the garden restaurant seemed repetitive. It lacked variety. the toiletries in my shower were not wall mounted, and there was no shelf. this made organization difficult.

the location was good it was close to the city.
i found that my room had some problems the coffee machine did not work and the pods got stuck i had to call room service twice the shower room also leaked in the right corner this was very inconvenient.

The family room included two queen beds. This was spacious. The sea view from the balcony was amazing. Waking up to that each morning was a real highlight, and I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly. I especially enjoyed the poolside service.
