The hotel advertised as 5-star. it fell short in several areas. The room's old carpet and the bathroom needed an update. The broken overhead shower sprayed water all over, and the trickling sinks were blocked. Wi-Fi was spotty, a real inconvenience.

I loved the location. It was very easy to walk to the centre. the pool area was fine, overlooking the city. breakfasts had a good, plentiful selection.
the bar prices felt high. i also experienced slow service. the toilets by the main restaurant were not clean.

I found several aspects of my stay VERY disappointing. The air conditioning in the room was feeble. It barely cooled the space. Breakfast was chaotic. Staff struggled to clear tables or take drink orders!
