an adequate stay with some issues
basic room worn bathroom
the evening meal and breakfast were both good.
The room felt quite basic. It lacked a coat hook. the bathroom was quite worn. it definitely needs some updating, it really detracted from the experience, i must say.

the staff was cute. the hotel provided an excellent breakfast.
i booked a double room. the room was excessively warm. i found it challenging to regulate the shower temperature and the bathroom was worn. it certainly needs some attention.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues
flat pillows inconsistent temperature
I found a couple of things less than ideal. The pillows were quite flat and offered minimal support. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the shower proved hard to adjust.. I couldn't seem to find a consistent temperature and struggled a bit.

cozy stay with high-quality food
friendly atmosphere helpful staff excellent breakfast
I loved the friendly and cute atmosphere. the staff were helpful. Jan even helped us store our son's wedding cake in the restaurant fridge. breakfast and supper were excellent and very good value. it tasted very fresh.
Our room was on the ground floor. A pathway was immediately outside the window. it wasn't the most comfortable, especially as the path was well-used early in the morning.

This hotel provides convenient access to the dining room located inside the pub. there is a beer garden at the back of the hotel. Many guests seemed to enjoy it. gps made it easy to find.

the location is great when needing to stay over for work. it provided complete privacy because of a very high laurel behind the rooms. this hotel is a wonderful stop before crossing the channel.

all the staff were helpful and had a sense of humor. staff helped us store our son's wedding cake in the fridge. reception was good and showed how hospitable the staff were.

I asked for a quiet room, but there was quite a bit of noise late at night. The pub seemed to stay open very late, and I heard people shouting outside. The noise made it difficult to sleep. I probably would not stay again.

freshly cooked breakfast cute staff friendly atmosphere steamy bathroom small space absent fridge
i really enjoyed the breakfast it was freshly cooked. the staff were cute making it easy to relax. the bar had a friendly atmosphere i found it easy to wind down there.
my bathroom got steamy really quickly. it is a small space i understand given the price. i wished there was water and a small fridge in the room.
