Mixed Experience with Some Issues

The shower was problematic! The handheld shower didn't stay in place due to the strong water pressure. Water from the shower went everywhere. The reception staff seemed disorganized. They asked about a restaurant bill we didn't incur, and that was embarrassing.

i liked the central location very much. the staff was very helpful and kind, which i appreciate. the breakfast was very nice with a variety of choices. marta at the front desk was super sweet and helpful.

the hotel provides complimentary coffee, water, and light snacks throughout the day, i saw it. this is a thoughtful touch for those exploring the city or needing refreshment. the lobby includes comfortable seating areas and offers a cute atmosphere.

the front desk staff is available always to assist with any needs or questions from guests. they are knowledgeable about the area, and i could easily get directions. the hotel offers a daily free walking tour, a very generous service.

the hotel is just off rossio square. it allows for simple walking around the square and to the train station. this location provides easy access to main attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, so i recommend it.

The rooms have all you need while maintaining the historic feel. I noticed it. complimentary nespresso coffee and spring water in glass bottles refilled every day, i saw that too. the bathroom was large and modern.

Really good Service and Prime Location

The staff was very helpful. They provided excellent service. I appreciated the complimentary Portuguese egg tarts with a welcome note. The room featured modern technology like the in-wall Bluetooth speaker. This was a nice addition.
The shower had a very strong jet. The handheld one did not stay in place. The waterfall shower splashed water everywhere. I slid and bruised my knee in the bathroom as a result.

Breakfast runs from 7-11 am, a plus for late risers. The buffet had many options to choose from. I preferred the in-room Nespresso coffee. the fruit and juice options were excellent.

A free walking tour occurs after breakfast. It provides historical background. The guest service manager, Pedro, led the tour we joined. Tipping is optional for the tour. We did tip him for the work.

The hotel is centrally located and within comfortable walking distance of visitor attractions. Taxis cannot directly access the road outside. Guests must walk about 100m to reach the hotel with luggage.
