delicious buffet respectful staff
I adored the breakfast buffet. It presented so much variety and everything tasted supremely fresh. the morning restaurant staff were gentle and courteous, always ready with a smile.
I noticed that the shower's jet felt a little too strong. The handheld part didn't stay quite in place, a minor inconvenience.

Central Location and Great Service
central location easy access fantastic choice
The location was central. I had very easy access to transport links. The room maintained a nice temperature and felt spacious. The breakfasts offered a fantastic choice of beautiful foods.

central gem, a reflective review
central location portuguese pastries modern amenities informative tour
i stayed in a wonderfully located room. the welcome note and traditional portuguese pastries upon arrival were a delight. i appreciated the modern amenities like the bluetooth speaker in the wall and the double sink in the bathroom. the complimentary walking tour with pedro was informative.
the coffee during breakfast wasn't my favorite, i preferred the in-room nespresso capsules.

the room included modern technology such as a bluetooth speaker built into the wall, it was a nice touch. the bathroom offered double sinks, this eliminated any morning congestion. complimentary portuguese tile and beverages were also provided in the fridge.

breakfast had plentiful options. many fruits and juices were available which i appreciated. breakfast service runs from 7-11 am, a great convenience for late risers. i liked the nespresso coffee capsules available in the room.

the hotel is in the heart of the city, near many historic sites. it is a short walk to restaurants and shops. i found the main streets in the area closed to most traffic , made exploring very enjoyable.

Mixed Experience with Some Issues
strong shower disorganized staff
The shower was problematic! The handheld shower didn't stay in place due to the strong water pressure. Water from the shower went everywhere. The reception staff seemed disorganized. They asked about a restaurant bill we didn't incur, and that was embarrassing.

central location variety choices
i liked the central location very much. the staff was very helpful and kind, which i appreciate. the breakfast was very nice with a variety of choices. marta at the front desk was super sweet and helpful.

the hotel is just off rossio square. it allows for simple walking around the square and to the train station. this location provides easy access to main attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, so i recommend it.

Really good Service and Prime Location
helpful staff welcome note bluetooth speaker
The staff was very helpful. They provided excellent service. I appreciated the complimentary Portuguese egg tarts with a welcome note. The room featured modern technology like the in-wall Bluetooth speaker. This was a nice addition.
The shower had a very strong jet. The handheld one did not stay in place. The waterfall shower splashed water everywhere. I slid and bruised my knee in the bathroom as a result.

Breakfast runs from 7-11 am, a plus for late risers. The buffet had many options to choose from. I preferred the in-room Nespresso coffee. the fruit and juice options were excellent.

A free walking tour occurs after breakfast. It provides historical background. The guest service manager, Pedro, led the tour we joined. Tipping is optional for the tour. We did tip him for the work.

The hotel is centrally located and within comfortable walking distance of visitor attractions. Taxis cannot directly access the road outside. Guests must walk about 100m to reach the hotel with luggage.
