A Good Getaway Experience

The king guest room was clean and spacious. The bed was like a cloud. The bathroom included a rainfall shower, REALLY adding to the luxurious feel. Staff members at reception were always available and ready to assist with any questions. They handled every request smoothly and actually.
I found the selection of TV channels somewhat limited.

the breakfast was a TRUE delight, with a large selection available. reception staff were friendly and helpful and that was very appreciated. i found the room provided great value, and its cleanliness was particularly noticeable. the blackout blinds were effective, and that ensured a restful sleep.
the shower handle did sometimes come loose when i turned it, and this was a minor inconvenience.

the staff responded quickly to the asthma ATTACK in the restaurant, providing immediate assistance. they brought water and ice cream for the child and alerted the reception team. i found this level of care very commendable.

The room had tea making equipment, a comfortable bed, and nice lighting. I found large, soft bath towels. The bedroom was well appointed with lovely crabtree and evelyn toiletries. Check-in went smoothly, and I reserved a table for our evening meal at a suitable time.
The pool was available to the wider community which led to an overcrowded sauna.

The traffic noise was quite loud, even from my room on an upper floor. It woke me up several times during the night. the pool was overly crowded with children when I wanted to relax. Made it difficult to enjoy the facilities. The pool area lacked the peaceful atmosphere I'd hoped for. I did appreciate the breakfast. the disturbances overshadowed that.

The cookie on arrival was a nice cute gift. i appreciated the blackout blinds in the room (they really helped with the morning light). the spa facilities provided good relaxation. I used the pool quite a bit.
i noticed the phone and remotes looked very dirty. it seemed they had not been cleaned for a while, a slight concern.

Anca on reception was very helpful after my long drive. She assured me my stay would be great, reassuring. the room was clean and modern with all the amenities i needed. the bed was very comfortable. The lovely toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch. the hotel was also located near many shops.
the hotel bar was often manned by only one person, who was taking drink orders and serving meals. this seemed a little understaffed for busy times.
