Decent Location, Some Disappointments
shabby carpetbroken television
The room felt quite dated. Only one chair existed in the room, not ideal for a superior twin room. The carpet and chair seemed rather shabby. I also found the television did not work most of the time.

Really good Village Inn Experience
friendly staffgreat valuelovely garden
The staff showed excellent friendliness. I was impressed! I found a delicious steak night deal. It offered amazing value. The beer garden looked lovely, and a fine beach plus a golf course are very close.
The salad accompanying the ham sandwich I ordered seemed a bit sparse for the price.
Location

The inn provides an excellent base to walk by the beach. Access to Dunstanburgh Castle is easy. Driving and parking a little closer to various attractions is also an option if preferred. It is convenient.
Service
10/10
The brunch served to our group of sixteen was really good, before our departure. The staff delivered friendly service, ensuring a nice atmosphere. That enhanced our dining experience considerably, as we visited a number of times.
Facilities
8/10
The inn features a dog-friendly restaurant, which I found perfect for my needs. The gift shop and delicatessen close to the inn provide convenient access. It is located close by and worth visiting.
Rooms

My room was cozy, and the bed provided comfort. I found tea and coffee supplies plentiful in my room. Locally-made biscuits delivered a good touch. Parking was available outside the inn and around the side on the road.

mediocre qualitydog fee
The food prices were ridiculous for mediocre quality. it seemed like they upped the prices because they thought they had a captive audience. the room also had dust. Charging over £100 a night plus a dog fee, that is not okay. the dog fee supposedly covers extra cleaning but clearly doesn't.
I loved the location near the golf course. Breakfast had nice options. The village setting is older and charming. The Sunday lunch impressed me with its generous portions of meat.
The room was very small. It overlooked the windows of another room, which I did not like.
Dining
9/10
I found the breakfast adequate, and it has plenty of choices for everyone. Sunday lunch portions are large with lots of meat served, though I could not finish it all. I recommend dining here.
Service
10/10
The staff are very helpful and efficient. They ensured that guests were well looked after. I found everyone approachable and eager to assist with any requests, this is so pleasant.
