the staff were friendly. the rooms were lovely and very clean. there was plenty of parking. i was able to park very close to my rooms.
the room i booked was not available with my dog. i booked the room that i was told was dog friendly. i also messaged the hotel before arrival to confirm i was bringing my dog. when i got to the hotel i was told i could not have the room i booked due to the dog

Excellent Stay

I enjoyed Asian-style pork belly and traditional fish and chips. The beer was a first-rate pint of IPA, I thought! We finished with crumble and custard. Victoria, our server, was charming and attentive, though she was a credit to the organisation. Plenty of free parking was available. And the location was very quiet.
There was not enough lighting by the dressing table for hair and makeup. But I managed.

The room was beautiful with a comfortable bed. it was lovely and warm. The bathroom had a huge walk-in shower, very refreshing with warm, fluffy white towels and spotlessly clean.

The staff at reception were polite and helpful. They went out of their way to help us. The breakfast was also delicious in the very nice restaurant. Lovely helpful staff served it.

the room was a nice size , including all essential room facilities like an iron and ironing board. breakfast had decent choices , with plenty available. i appreciated the free parking offered on site.
i found the seal around the bathroom floor poorly done , which i believe made cleaning difficult.
