high standard amazing restaurant rude staff small buffet

the rooms were large and comfortable. i found the cleanliness to a very high standard. the japanese restaurant was amazing too. i also appreciate olio, it was beautiful.

the pool did not open until 9 one day. we are early risers and like to be out by 7:30/8, but we could not go anywhere. the buffet was small and the staff were rude TOO. also it is not open at lunch. this IS odd.

Balanced Experience

high standard room cleaning cooking show nice experience friendly staff special treatment evening entertainment simple entertainment indoor pool cold water

The food was good (I especially liked the Japanese restaurant). The staff are generally friendly. The rooms are cleaned twice a day to a very high standard.

The overall treatment did not feel as special as expected. I found the evening entertainment at the bar to be simple and not nice. The free access to the spa is more like an indoor pool (the water was cold).

mediocre stay

smoking neighbors lack of guarantee

the breakfast offered a lot of variety, ranging from vegetable smoothies.

i stayed in a junior suite sea view, the view was amazing! however, i couldn't sit on the balcony as much as i wanted because the neighbours kept smoking cigarillos. the hotel offered another room but there was no guarantee that there would be no smoke from others again.

honeymoon Bliss

really good service friendly staff ocean view

i just returned from a stay there! my husband and i were on our honeymoon. we received really good service from the staff, who were always friendly. before we arrived, the front desk communicated everything i needed and we received a room upgrade, which gave us a amazing ocean view. the maids always smiled and did a great job.

the hotel requires men to wear long trousers to dinner though they allow jeans. i do not think jeans are appropriate for a five-star experience. most five-star hotels do not allow jeans. this dress code felt outdated.

Dining

9/10

breakfast offered a wide selection. preferred club guests have a reserved seating area with table service. the buffet dinner had tons of choice and variety, though i would have preferred more options during lunch.

Rooms

10/10

Our spacious bedroom included a balcony overlooking the sea! the rooms are cleaned to a high standard. a turn-down service at night delivers little chocolates. It is a nice touch. the rooms were very clean.

a balanced stay

facial treatment excellent service tired sunshades cigarette ends

The spa treatments were wonderful. I had a facial. the results delighted my wife and i! the bar had a view. This was the best you could wish for. the service was excellent again.

The beach loungers and sunshades need renewing. I thought they looked tired. the garden room overlooked a balcony. It was full of cigarette ends and needed a tidy up! SUCH a shame.
