wide selection shuttle service outdoor pool
the superior double or twin room included a spacious bathroom. i found the breakfast buffet had a wide selection of pastries and fresh fruit. the hotel provided shuttle service to the city center. but the outdoor pool was a major highlight for me.
some street noise was noticeable at times.

Solid Stay with Handy Amenities
separate shower breakfast options convenient access needed relaxation
The double room included two sinks and a separate shower. Breakfast had various options that included scrambled eggs, grilled tomatoes, and mushrooms. I appreciated the pool. It provided needed relaxation after sightseeing. The hotel also provided convenient access to Trastevere and Vatican City, only a short walk away.
The walls were thin. Noise from adjacent rooms affected sleep quality.

The room included a safe and a desk. These amenities allowed efficient organization. Marble surfaces was throughout, and it. A hairdryer also exists in the bathroom.

Staff members were polite and spoke English. Reception staff helped with directions. The staff provided quick check in, nice. Staff allowed early check in, as I arrived by an early train.

poor soundproofing limited breakfast
The soundproofing wasn't exactly stellar. I could hear EVERYTHING happening in the hallway. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. It lacked variety. I expected more for what i paid, frankly. Perhaps it was just an off week, or maybe my expectations were too high. They need to look into these issues pronto.

mixed feelings about this hotel
uncomfortable beds lack of sympathy
the staff were lovely and always available when i needed a taxi. it was very easy to get one.
the beds were the most uncomfortable beds i have ever slept in. if you have a bad back you will be very uncomfortable. i was ill when we were there and asked for a late checkout of just 3 hours. they wanted to charge 50 euros, with no sympathy for my plight.

a pleasant stay
fresh fruit quiet atmosphere
The breakfast included an amazing variety, really. a wide selection was available, from pastries to fresh fruit. the outdoor pool provided a refreshing escape from the city heat. The bar offered poolside service. i appreciated the quiet atmosphere of the hotel despite its central location.
