the building has an oldie world charm, and it is in great location for exploring the area.

the recent alterations failed to impress ME much. outside seating needs attention because it looks worn. staff WERE amazing, but the whole experience felt a little deflated.

The pool was good. The beds in the Classic Room I booked were comfortable and great size, I had two king-sized beds.

My room was far too hot. It was an internal room. There were no windows. I did not feel comfortable leaving the door to the internal balcony open. The steam room was tiny and could only fit one person in. The room got hotter than the sauna.

The staff were friendly. food had excellent quality. portions were generous. the hotel provided a bbq with free beer. I really enjoyed that.

the room felt hotter than the sauna. it made sleeping uncomfortable. i could not contact reception after 7 for a solution. parking was not great too, it was hard to find a space.
