excellent location helpful staff
the location was awesome it was very close to the main square. i also liked it was quiet and secluded. the staff members were very helpful and willing to provide assistance.
the pillows where very uncomfortable so i did not get a good night's sleep.

amazing lodging experience
taxi transfer auschwitz trip helpful staff breakfast variety
The hotel arranged taxi transfers and an auschwitz trip. the restaurant showcases artifacts from the 12th to 18th centuries, found during the excavation of this 2004 structure. the staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring i felt welcome. i especially liked the breakfast buffet. It had a great variety of options.
the room had a very small window, which slightly restricted natural light.

underwhelming stay for the price
empty minibar non-functional smart device
I found a few things amiss. the minibar was empty. It seemed a bit pointless. the shower didn't drain properly. I nearly had a flood after just a short shower. also, the tv had a smart device, but it just would not work. so much for winding down with a movie

light pollution dated equipment
The lack of proper blackout curtains really bugged me. Light pollution seeped in all night. i also found the minibar prices a bit steep, even for a hotel of this supposed caliber. the staff seemed a little too rehearsed in their responses, lacking a genuine warmth. i swear, i asked for extra towels and was like i was pulling teeth! the gym equipment was dated. I mean, who still uses a treadmill from the early 2000s?

warm food good breakfast wardrobe light cold room
The breakfast had a good selection of warm food like scrambled and fried eggs for vegetarians. It also had cheese, salads, fruits, bread, and cake.
The wardrobe light turned on with movement inside the room. This made it hard to sleep. I also found the rooms cold. there were two single duvets instead of one large one.

a lovely experience
friendly staff amazing food quiet location
I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. the hotel has amazing food, prepared and presented with such care. the location is perfect. It's close to everything yet the hotel is on a quiet side street with trees and greenery (a peaceful retreat in the city).
the pillows provided were not comfortable, being quite formless. alternative pillows were unavailable at the time of my stay. it wasn't a comfortable situation overall, unfortunately.
