a balanced ryokan experience

traditional mealsfriendly staffart museumentrance stairsdirty bathyellowish water
i really enjoyed the traditional meals provided! the dinner set menu was wonderful and i found the staff super cute and friendly. the service met my expectations. i appreciated that the location was right next to the okada museum of art, a super plus.
I found a couple of downsides . there were only stairs at the entrance. nobody offered to help with luggage, neither upon arrival nor departure. the bath tub seemed dirty. The tiles had stains and the water from the tap into the bath was yellowish, so i didn't dare use it.
