a stay with some drawbacks

the hotel was serene. the private onsen was also fantastic. the room itself was spacious.
i did not like the limited shuttle service availability. the steep roads towards the hotel were challenging. frequent shuttle service would be very useful. i did not appreciate the staff who showed us to our breakfast table not being happy with where we requested to sit.

underwhelming stay
clean roomuphill location
the hot spring water was amazing, and the room was very clean.
The location was too far from the station. It was also uphill. Because of this, i had to eat there and pay a lot for dinner. It was a disappointing traditional japanese dinner since i couldn't eat it.

We adored our suite. It included an open air bath, a wonderful feature! as a family, we found the in-suite onsen convenient. the staff greeted us warmly at the entrance and handled our luggage with care. complimentary drinks were a special daily treat.
I thought the shuttle service ended too early. Dinner options outside the hotel required a bit of a walk.
