Acceptable Stay with Service Issues

The restaurant meal was good, except for the pork. Everything else tasted fantastic.
The bathroom towel rail did not work, and there was no other heating. It was cold! A member of the staff provided an oil-filled radiator, though there was no offer of a complimentary drink. The room was at the corner of the building so it was cold anyway.

Really good Service and Beautiful Setting

The staff offered the warmest service from arrival to departure. They were very helpful and friendly. When we returned later in the evening, someone helped us with anything we needed. I am grateful for the relaxed feel of the beautiful rooms.

Excellent Hotel Experience

The staff was very helpful. They gave me a physical key. This helped me get into my room after hours. They showed understanding when I forgot to change rooms one day. The restaurant food was very good. the location had a beautiful walk. I could get fresh air and exercise.
Service was a little slow. I waited a while between courses.

I had a wonderful meal in the restaurant. I tried the Celeriac and Lentil pie. The red wine gravy complemented it well. The chef deserves recognition for the dish.
