Central Location with Excellent Breakfast

I received a room upgrade, a benefit that included robes. Staff members were helpful and my room was clean. The bathroom and shower facilities were very good. I found everything in proper order.
The hotel pool seemed to need some updating.

The location is very central, offering convenient access. The hotel is immediately opposite Trinity Square car park, which makes parking easy. It is a great spot with plenty of dining options nearby.

The breakfast was excellent. I found every item to be top quality. The hotel also had a relaxing pool. I found the pool to be a nice addition after a busy day in the city center.

The breakfast buffet offered a WIDE variety of options. The staff were helpful with directions to local attractions. I liked that the bathroom was VERY clean. It had a rainfall shower, which i enjoyed.

underwhelming stay despite central location
weird smelloverall cleanliness
the room i got reminded me of a maze. seriously it was like i needed a map to find my way back from breakfast. also the room had this weird smell, not terrible but definitely noticeable. i'm not sure if it was old carpet or something but it wasn't exactly refreshing and made me question the overall cleanliness a bit more.

balanced stay in city centre

the location is great with many shops. staff are very friendly and helpful. the free access to the pool and saunas are a bonus and the bed was good quality, so i slept great.
the room was not well soundproofed, i heard a lot of outside noises. water was not replenished in the room, a little disappointing. the parking was not so easy, it had limited spaces.
