The hotel is nice but I found some issues. My room had an old shower curtain. I think a hotel like this should have a walk-in shower. It felt outdated and not what I expect.

the cleanliness was very good. generally, the staff were very nice.
I found the service and management inconsistent. the hotel seems to have declined in recent years. breakfast was not very good. they nickel and dime people on items. It felt strange for a hotel of this category.

Really good Stay Near Chinatown

The hotel is near attractions such as the Red Brick Warehouse and the Cup Noodles Museum. It is also close to the coast and a short walk from Chinatown. I appreciated that luggage storage was available post check out.
The breakfast buffet is quite expensive.

There are several elevators, so moving around was quick and convenient. The hotel also offers parking, however. You pay for it when you check in. It is an added convenience.

The hotel is a five minute walk from the Nippon-Odori Station. There is both a 7-Eleven and a Lawson convenience store nearby. Chinatown is also nearby.

The hotel offers a great buffet-style breakfast that provides various options. The hotel restaurant provides excellent meals for other dining times. The breakfast was the best part of my trip though the buffet is expansive.

My room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious! The bed was comfortable and ensured restful sleep. Soundproofing in the hotel is effective so noise did not disrupt my stay.

thorough cleaningadditional feepoor customer experience
the cleaning at housekeeping level was thorough and complete with amenities.
I was disappointed that the hotel sent an email saying i needed to pay an additional fee for breakfast for a third person. It was not described when i booked. it was like the hotel put their mistake on their customers. this was like a very poor customer experience. it wasn't about the money, but the principle!!!
